How a white background can improve conversions
For years people have used all sorts of backgrounds on their website. Different colours, images, patterns and or combinations of all three.
The problems with backgrounds is that they just don’t work. They are based on the personal preferences of the website owner and often unsuitable, act as distractions or even slow down the load times of the site. This assertion isn’t just my opinion, I’ve tested various site and analysis of the results show that plain white background are the best option.

The three background options were shown to to 200 testers and you can see that the one with the white background wins hands down.
It’s not what you like, it’s only matters what your visitors like.
