The sites you will read about may have undergone all sorts of changes since I helped out the owners. They aren’t my sites, if the owner wants to change them then who am I to stop them.
So, you want to build yourself a website?
The cheapest and most cost effective way is to contact Graham.
He will explain first what he will do, what you need to do, then start the process.
I “found” Graham via a UKBF and was encouraged by his “no nonsense” approach and knowledge to all things connected to website creation & development.
I knew nothing about website development before meeting Graham, but with his easy to follow instructions, guidance and support was able to create my website which has greatly improved the inquiries received for the services that I offer.
You can work at your own pace with the full knowledge that Graham is only a phone call away to assist in any areas you need help, as well as Skype calls to further explain matters.
Graham configures your website, the pages, the layout and just about anything else you need to get your website up and running, including a well priced hosting service.
All you need to do, is to input your own content on each page. (A doddle on WordPress)
Graham will include all the extras you need to ensure the page is well laid out, as well as advising on links to each page and the general format of the website, including menus, contact pages, titles, fonts, sizes, photos etc etc.
Graham has a very “simple & effective” approach to what should be included (as well as what shouldn’t!) and I am grateful for his assistance and continued support in creating & developing my website.

Right from day one Graham has offered me unrivalled support with my wordpress site. Unlike other companies he took the time to carefully look at my current site and assess what could be changed and made better before taking any payment. Once the assessment was complete he very quickly set up a new wordpress site for me, including theme and necessary plugins. Many times since I have required help and always Graham has responded quickly and got the issues resolved.
Many a time I would have been in a mess without his help. It is a great relief to know that whatever issue may arise I can count on Graham to help out. Many other companies will take advantage of the unknowledgeable and claim small fixes have taken hours or small problems are close to unfixable; I know this first hand. Graham is not like this but instead quite the opposite and has never asked for more money than the initial payment. When I enquired with Aerin about a website a client had already recommended me to the firm. As I work closely already with web designers I decided to compare a couple on both price and how easy they appeared to make the job. I got on with Graham as he and I communicated well and he delivered what I needed promptly.
Graham was knowledgeable without offering up the usual techie speak that the others do. The service provided was going to be made simple without creating too much in graphics and making the site functional and search engine friendly. We planned together and all the input I wanted to add was that the work should be promised to be by a certain time (it was) and that I wanted a no-worry service so that I could leave him to complete the project.
I fully recommend him. The reason for that is the design process really wasn’t a fuss, I could write as little or as much content as I needed to adding in simple facts about the business, and every page created was clear and distinct.
Graham was extremely helpful from the first call, I found the service good value for money (wasn’t the cheapest that I’d been quoted but I had a good feeling) and I got what I wanted within the time I needed it.
In summary; minimum fuss, helpful advice and a prompt completion.

When I contacted Graham I was merely asking advice for budgeting purposes. I’d made the mistake of using a “high street”name that didn’t actually understand my business, or me.
They then produced a face-less, off the shelf site, that was not only inappropriate for my business and its aims, but also for the type of image/brand I wished to project.
Graham was a breath of fresh air! His approach was supportive at every step. When I had a problem he understood, and provided solutions. Being a website designer and photographer you could say I have a creative view on things, especially when putting the two together. However, I have since found out that this is not all that is required to have a successful e-commerce website. I had looked over my site hundreds of times and thought it was fine until I looked at the conversion rate which was awful!
So after several recommendations I found Graham and asked him to run me a site report. The information he sent back was eye-opening to say the least! His expertise in site layout, wording and usability made me realise how blinkered I had been. After implementing his indepth advice I now have better conversions and a site that is easier to use and understand. I had just wasted (a borrowed) £125 on somebody else who had made me an awful website but convinced me that it would be “pretty” a bit later ie after I had had lots of hits from it(!) This website became a laughing stock of a business web forum that I was (and still am) a member of, so I hunted round for an alternative web designer, given that there were plenty of talented members on that forum.
When I first spoke to Graham on the phone, I have to admit that I was a bit dubious about him because he was about the fifth website designer I has spoken to in the past three days. However, I quickly warmed to him as he seemed genuinely interested in my fledgling business’s well-being as well as my own. This really clinched the deal because only when I detect that attitude, I then look for competence.
Graham was adamant about simplicity – he understood my business principles well enough to apply his web-design principles to it; namely: “simplicity, simplicity, simplicity – or lose the visitor.”
About two days after the site went up, I start to get telephone enquires which then transpired to money in my bank in the course of time.
During the past few months, I have requested Graham (via text, email and phone) to make minor edits, to make huge changes, to add in an on-line payment system and generally keep the site up-to-date as my own knowledge and skill level increased. He did it all with his by now customary confidence, competence, accuracy and high-speed response.
Amazingly, sometimes he would call me on his own initiative and the conversation would go something like this “Hey John, I was thinking about your site and think that you could benefit by changing X to Y” or “How you doing? Have those changes made any difference, or shall we try something else now?”
All in all, I have one thing to say to anyone who is thinking of retaining Graham’s services:
Don’t make the mistake I made ooming and aahing. Hire Graham quickly – or lose money!
